We ordered takeout on the phone. They did not do call aheads, but they said the wait wouldn’t be too bad. The parking was pretty full, but I just hopped out of the car to pick up our food while my husband drove the car around.
We ordered a cup of the creamy clam chowder, lobster bisque, cod fish fish tacos, and two lobster bombs. I had the chowder and tacos, which both were very good. The chowder was better than Abbot’s which is just down the street from Ford’s. The tacos were delicious with a tiny kick, but were not the best for takeout. The shells were quite soggy by the time we got home.
My dad and husband really enjoyed the lobster bombs. You can request to get the lobster on the side to prevent the bread from getting soggy, but ours didn’t come like that. We live 15 minutes away and they said the bread was fine.
The chips that came with the tacos and lobster bombs were just a bag of lays chips. Overall, the food was delicious and I highly recommend eating here.
