My experience: Friday, September 11, 2020

My husband and I went for a dinner date. Parking wasn’t too terrible. It was quite full, but we found a spot near the beginning. The line was fairly long and the tables were filled. Luckily, we were able to get two chairs along the water after we ordered out food. Since it was in the evening, we did have the sun glaring in our eyes. It was still a gorgeous evening, though.

We ordered clam chowder, clam fritters, fish and chips, and hot lobster roll. It was all very good. The clam fritters weren’t quite what we were thinking – they were definitely a lot bigger than what we expected. I liked them, but my husband only thought they were okay. They’re similar to hush puppies.

We returned for lunch with my parents and were very pleased with our meal. We got lobster rolls – cold and hot, lobster bisque, clam strips – shared dish, fish and chips, and sea scallops roll. It was all very delicious. I had the sea scallops roll and clam strips, which were both AMAZING! My husband had the cold lobster roll, which was great, but he liked the hot lobster roll better. My mom “mmm”ed her fish and chips a few times throughout the meal. My dad was very pleased with his hot lobster roll and lobster bisque.

The parking was about as full as the first time we went, the line was a bit longer, and there were more available tables.

I can’t wait to come back with my sister- and brother-in law, to get a repeat of my meal!
