My experience: Saturday, July 18, 2020
The parking lot was easy to find. There were bikers, runners, fishers, beachgoers, and walkers of every age level. It’s an easy well-maintained gravel trail with only minor inclines and declines. There were many turnoffs that lead to the shoreline. It was a foggy morning, so we couldn’t see very far beyond the water. I recommend checking out the trail map, which is also displayed at the entrance of the trail. There was another sign, which I later realized (edit: see below), that explained the different number markers along the trail. This sign was displayed at the beginning and in the middle of the loop. On the east side of the main loop, there is a foundation of a house that was built in the 1600s. That was pretty cool to see. The main loop took a little over an hour. I wouldn’t say it was my favorite, but it was a nice walk and I would return.
- Others’ experiences: This seems to be a favorite/go-to spot.
