It was very lovely here. The lighthouse is located on the University of Connecticut Groton campus. We came in the evening because my sister-in-law was getting proposed to, so we parked in the parking stalls closest to the lighthouse. (Update: When I tried to come back again another time during the day, the signs said that the parking required permits. So I’m not really sure how parking works to visit the lighthouse.)
Along the shore, it was quite windy and a little chilly. There’s a huge lawn in front of the gorgeous building, as the picture below shows.
I would love to return here. I bet it would be perfect for stargazing!
The scars you share become lighthouses for other people who are headed to the same rocks you hit.
